Rare antique apothecary bottle in deep cobalt blue glass, dating from the late 19th century, circa 1880–1900.
It retains its matching ground glass stopper and remarkable original black and gold paper label inscribed “Tinctura Erythr: Coca”.
The glass displays attractive manufacturing irregularities around the neck, base and underside, consistent with antique production. The deeply recessed and uneven base adds strong period character.
The ornate pharmacy label features decorative pharmaceutical motifs and has developed a beautiful authentic patina, with wear and small losses consistent with age.
A striking historical and decorative object, ideal for an antique pharmacy collection, cabinet of curiosities, library or eclectic interior.
