Antique Chinese-Tibetan bronze Buddha, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The Buddha is depicted in Abhaya Mudra, the gesture of protection and reassurance. Hollow-cast bronze with surviving traces of old fire gilding and red pigment/lacquer. The surface displays natural age-related patina, oxidation and wear. Preserved in authentic condition without modern restoration.
