Delightful large 4-panel Chinese folding screen in Coromandel lacquer, first half of the 20th century, with superb colorful decoration of exotic birds flying and playing in a luxuriant vegetation of bamboos and flowers; the whole is in good overall condition (some wear/aging: lacquer chips notably on 2 corners and on the reverse and wear of the metal clamps at the feet: see photos but not notifiable in a global vision). Unfolded length: 163cm. Height: 182.8cm. Panel width only: 40cm.
