Beautiful antique Chinese bridal cabinet
Qing Dynasty (19th century) original, not a replica
Everything is still in its original condition: Chinese characters are still visible on the shelves, the hinges and locks are in their original bronze condition, and the bottom of the cabinet features a beautiful carved wood panel.
We purchased the cabinet from Gulden Interieur in Rotterdam.
It is a unique piece and a real eye-catcher, and is in excellent condition. The cabinet is currently built into a niche. This has provided excellent protection against wear and tear, and it is still pristine.
The cabinet is freestanding in the niche and can be easily slid out. A photo of the side of the cabinet is included, showing that it is also pristine and has the original wood joints.
