Antique brass four-poster bed - late 19th / early 20th century - classic bar design
Unique antique brass bed frame, believed to be from the late 19th century or early 20th century, with beautifully turned bars and classic ball ornaments. This type of bed was often used as a four-poster bed or fitted with ornate curtain fabrics for a romantic look.
The frame consists of the headboard, footboard and the four corner posts with connecting rod at the top.
The bed is still mostly in original condition and almost complete, which is exceptional for an object of this age.
