An original antique metal vase from the 'RIO' design line by Daalderop Tiel. This object was made in the Art Deco interwar period (1920s/1930s) and features the circular factory stamp "RIO TIEL - MADE IN HOLLAND" on the underside. The vase is made of feather-light, thin drawn sheet metal with a shiny silver-colored finish. The design is typical of the Art Deco style, recognizable by its sleek shape and the geometric scale motif on the body. A nice eye-catcher for a vintage or modern interior. Approx. 31cm high. The vase is almost 100 years old and is in a well-used, antique condition:
Exterior: Still shines beautifully, but has normal signs of age all around, such as fine scratches, spots in the metal, and one small superficial dent on the body (see detail photos).
Interior: The inside of the neck shows dark oxidation stains and wear of the original layer due to historical use with water in the past.
