A beautiful, authentic table lamp from the Art Deco transition period (circa 1920–1935). This unique interior piece combines classic elegance with the early geometric design language of the early 20th century. An absolute eye-catcher for lovers of historic antiques and vintage design. Features & Details: Base & Fixture: Elegant eclectic design. The heavy cast metal base features geometric Art Deco lines, classic acanthus leaves, and refined openwork casting around the neck. The inside of the base contains original foundry marks (model marks) from the period. Centerpiece: Beautiful body of hand-painted European folk pottery (majolica/faience) with a refined red-green floral motif on a soft cream glaze. Lampshade: Includes the rare, period-specific dark green fabric shade. The shade features the original metal three-legged spider construction that clamps directly onto the fitting axis. The shade directs the light downwards in an atmospheric way. Electrical & Fitting: The lamp is equipped with a standard E27 (large) screw fitting, suitable for all modern (LED) incandescent bulbs. The wiring was expertly modernized in the past (1970s/1980s) with a safe gold-colored cord switch and Euro plug. The lamp is ready for immediate and safe use. Condition: The lamp is in excellent antique condition. The earthenware is intact and the metal base has a beautiful, weathered patina that accentuates the age of the object.
