This 'M1' dining table is an exceptional and rare example of Angelo Mangiarotti's architectural design style and was produced in Italy by Skipper in the 1970s.
Mangiarotti, known for his masterful combination of structural logic and visual harmony, designed this piece without mechanical joints: the round top rests perfectly on the conical base, held together solely by weight and precision.
The table is crafted from solid white Carrara marble with beautiful natural veins, which emphasize the organic elegance of the material.
Two-piece construction consisting of a round, 3 cm thick tabletop and a turned base. Dimensions: 130 cm diameter / 72 cm high.
Minimal signs of wear consistent with age. Lacquer in very good condition. Stone in perfect condition.
Sold due to the passing of my grandmother. She was the sole owner for over 50 years and took immense care of this table. It is a true gem.
It easily seats six chairs. The Tulip Knoll chairs and Miller Fehlbaum Panton chairs pictured are also available.
