Anfibio convertible sofa designed by Alessandro Becchi for Giovannetti, Italy, 1970s.
A true icon of 1970s Italian design, the Anfibio model, conceived by Alessandro Becchi and produced by Giovannetti, is renowned for its bold aesthetic and ingenious transformation system. With its generous, organic lines, it easily unfolds to offer a comfortable double bed measuring 190 x 182 cm.
Upholstered entirely in burgundy leather with a beautiful patina, this sofa captivates with its sculptural character as much as its functionality. An emblematic piece of Italian design, it finds its place naturally in a contemporary interior as well as in a vintage furniture collection.
The sofa is presented in very good vintage condition. The leather has developed a harmonious patina, consistent with its age and use.
Please note a few minor signs of wear visible on the mattress and on some parts of the leather.
