Product description
A beautiful armchair model n°563 by Fredrick A.Kayser for Vatne Lenestolfabrikk, Norway, 1960's.
This armchair is very slim, uncluttered in a sober Mid - Century style. Its structure is in hand-carved teak, with the seat and back composed of steel springs covered by a rubber frame. Overall, this is an excellent example of Norwegian mid-century design. The piece bears both the manufacturer's label (Vatne Lenestolfabrik) and the export control mark (made in Norway).
The chair is in very good condition, with a few signs of wear due to age.
