Beautiful iconic armchair designed by the Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto for Artek. This model is one of Aalto's most recognisable designs and is a wonderful example of his innovative vision of modern design and bent wood techniques. The chair is made of bent birch wood and features black woven straps, creating a beautiful contrast between the warm appearance of the wood and the graphic lines of the seat and backrest. The open and airy design features armrests wrapped with rattan. The chair can be used as a dining chair, desk chair or even as an armchair in the seating area. Most importantly, the simplicity and comfort make this chair perfect for any interior. The chair is in good vintage condition.
