For sale is a restored original Anders Pehrson Vintage Bumling pendant lamp, 400 Edition, in mint condition.

DESCRIPTION:
Anders Pehrson designed one of the greatest Swedish lighting successes of all time: Bumling. It was introduced at the lighting trade fair in Gothenburg in 1968 and was an immediate success both in Sweden and abroad. The secret to its success was its versatility: the many different designs and varying colors.
The bulb socket is E27. The light fixture can be operated with conventional or LED bulbs! Dimmable when used with a dimmable light source and an external dimmer. Optionally, this light fixture can also be fitted with a light diffuser grid. Please contact us if you are interested. It costs approximately €62.
The LED bulb is not included and is shown for illustrative purposes only.

Anders Pehrson was born in Gothenburg in 1912 and, after completing his engineering studies, began working as a design manager at Philips in 1952. He was an experienced designer and an exceptional PR professional. His purchase of Ateljé Lyktan in 1964 was pivotal for the company's future. With cornerstones such as form, function, color, and family, he created countless design classics that put Ateljé Lyktan on the map. He also designed the lighting concept for the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. Ateljé Lyktan delivered 16,300 lamps – the largest order in the company's history.

CONDITION:
Stunning, almost like new! Signs of wear? Virtually none, and if any, so minimal as to be barely noticeable!
The lamp has been completely restored by us! A new textile cable and a new socket have been installed. The original paint and all galvanized metal parts have been carefully refinished. Result: It is virtually indistinguishable from a new lamp. Finding a vintage Bumling pendant lamp in better condition is almost impossible. Not included!
This beautiful lamp comes from an architect-designed villa, which was filled with high-quality design classics.
