Product description
The Megaptera bowl by Officina Alessi is a design by Andrea Morgante of Shiro Studio. Designed in 2011, this bowl is a limited edition.
The name derives from the vertical grooves of the Megaptera whale, which expand to accommodate a larger volume of water. The ridges of the bowl express the deformation of the soft tissue while optimizing structural rigidity, without increasing the thickness of the metal plate.
The bowl is signed with the designer's name.
Material: 18/10 mirror-polished stainless steel
Dimensions: 26 x 45 cm, H 4 cm
The bowl has been used and therefore shows signs of wear in the form of scratches.
