This wall lamp was created by the master glassmaker Albano Poli for his company Poliarte. Wall lamp with rectangular chromed metal rods and clear Murano glass cubes mounted on aluminum plates, to create a unique sculpture, circa 1970s.
Poliarte: In the early 1960s, Albano Poli created the Poliarte brand and reinvented interior lighting. His artistic lamps are real works of art that dress light with the use of glass, chromium-plated iron, wrought iron and cast iron. They are lamps that have made the history of Italian design in the 1960s and 1970s as witnessed by the prizes and awards obtained in those years: in 1968 it received the prize for the works lent to the Decorative Arts Section of the 34th from the Ministry of Commerce and Crafts Venice International Art Biennale while in 1970 the first prize in the progress sector for the competition "Tradition, adaptation and progress of the handicraft product".
