Alexander Gerhardus Dieperink (1901 - 1969) was an Amsterdam painter, graphic artist, printer and draftsman. He also taught at the Maliebaan drawing school in Utrecht. While on holiday in France he made many drawings of mountains and landscapes. He also loved making portraits (such as this beautiful etching) and still lifes. Dimensions are from the accompanying passe-partout.
