Decorative set of two colour lithographs after Alphonse Mucha, depicting his celebrated Art Nouveau compositions Primrose and Feather. The original works were created in 1899 as a pair of decorative panels. These later reproductions, produced after the originals and associated with the Mucha Foundation, beautifully capture Mucha’s unmistakable aesthetic: elegant female profiles surrounded by elaborate floral motifs, flowing hair, delicate ornamentation and characteristic geometric borders. Both works are presented in matching large gilt frames with wide cream mounts, giving the pair an impressive and refined presence.
