Original André dining table, designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa in the late 1960s for Gavina and later produced by Knoll International.
A characteristic Italian modernist design featuring a heavy chrome-plated steel base and a square glass top. The construction of the base and the connections between the legs and the top are particularly characteristic of the André series.

Height approx. 72–75 cm
Condition
The table is used and shows signs of wear consistent with its age. The glass top has superficial scratches and the chrome shows slight aging/pitting in a few places.
The original leather pads/inserts between the frame and the glass top are missing. These could potentially be remade.
A beautiful and increasingly hard-to-find vintage design piece that still possesses a strong presence despite the signs of use. Design: Afra & Tobia Scarpa
