Fantastic desk model 7737 from the Artona series by renowned design duo Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Maxalto, Italy 1975.
This striking design features a walnut burl desk top, and edges featuring the iconic striped inlaid walnut design, which the Artona series is famous for.
The desk features a thin cognac leather covered drawer in the middle and storage space on both sides, with two shelves on the left and right on the right behind the leather-covered doors. The backside of the storage is also covered with the same cognac leather, allowing the desk to be freestanding in the room.
A striking combination of warm walnut burlwood, inlaid wooden edges and cognac leather. This desk was made to be part of the more sophisticated high-end division of B&B Italia: Maxalto.
