For sale is a true design classic of the Mid-Century era: The original Kaiser Idell desk lamp (Model 6786), affectionately known as "Witch's Hat" due to its distinctive shade shape. The design is based on the iconic Bauhaus designs by Christian Dell. This version stands out with its rare and original paintwork in a beautiful sea green / petrol, combined with an elegantly curved, chrome-plated arm and the typical white push-button switch at the base. Condition: The lamp is in good vintage condition with a beautiful, authentic patina. There are age-appropriate signs of wear on the paint (minor scratches – see photos), which give the object its charming character. No major dents or deep deformations. The adjustable ball joint holds its position perfectly, and the electrics are functional.
