Iconic orange pressed glass vase designed by Andries Dirk (A.D.) Copier for Glasfabriek Leerdam, dating from circa 1945 (Liberation glass).
This is a highly sought-after model among collectors of Dutch glass design. The warm, deep orange color combined with the elegant spherical shape and 12 subtle vertical ribs gives the piece a timeless, almost sculptural appearance.
Copier is known for his refined balance between functionality and form, and this design is a beautiful example of that. A small object with a strong visual presence.
