Welcome!!! You have just looked at a beautiful, rare white porcelain Art Deco Mid - Century designed by AD Copier for Eschenbach, Bavaria, Germany. Most admirers read it as AZC, which is incorrect. It is ADC.
The set consists of 1 large soup tureen,
3 vegetable/potato/salad tureens and 3 serving dishes.
Below are the measurements in cm and inches.
The entire set is in very good vintage condition. Two wear marks. One by the wavy plate and one by the vegetable tureen. The photos show these two small spots magnified.
Andries Dirk Copier - 1901-1991 - is considered the most important Dutch (glass) artist of the 20th century. Copier's work was influenced by the latest technical discoveries, resulting in personal contemporary designs. Early in his career, he was employed as a designer at the Leerdam Glasfabriek where he was given the freedom to experiment. Together with his team, he discovered a wide range of techniques for both utilitarian objects and one-off 'Unica' pieces. In addition, copiers were designed for the Eschenbach brand. One of the leading brands of the German porcelain industry. Based on this experience, Eschenbach has specialized in the manufacture of high-quality porcelain for hotels and restaurants for decades. The brand originated in the Bavarian town of Windischeschenbach. Major shareholder was the company "Winterling.
