An absolute icon of Italian design, it represents one of the most recognizable and beloved designs of the twentieth century thanks to its sculptural elegance and the perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality.
The Arco model was created in 1962 as a reinterpretation of the classic pendant lamp, but without the need for a ceiling fixture. The large arched stem allows light to be projected from above while keeping the base grounded, making the lamp extremely versatile and suitable for any domestic or professional setting.
The base is made of solid Carrara marble, precision-crafted and equipped with a through hole for easy movement. The telescopic stainless steel stem is composed of three sliding sections that allow the distance and height of the diffuser to be adjusted. The hemispherical chrome-plated steel shade, with ventilation holes and a decorative ring, reflects the light softly and precisely, creating a warm and sophisticated atmosphere.
This 1970s version retains all its original construction details, with a beautiful patina that testifies to its authenticity and the era of its production. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition: the marble base is intact, with no cracks or restorations, the metal structure is solid and shiny, and the dome shows minimal signs of use consistent with its age.
