Beautiful cubist work by the Kampen violin maker/painter Otto Stam (1913-1983). Won a gold medal with one of his violins in 1956 in Pegli, Italy. Painting was his great love. Antwerp Academy. Oil on canvas, 63x75 cm. Signed and dated 1950,both front and back. On back: - Tree in " 't Jodendom " Bilthoven - Excellent condition.
The work is 75 years old so it is not fresh from the studio but there are no flaws.
