This large 'Abat-Jour' table lamp was designed by Cini Boeri in 1975 and produced by the Italian brand Arteluce. The lamp combines a monumental form with refined materials: a pyramidal base in white marble carries a diffuser of opal methacrylate, crowned with a lacquered metal tip. The design is both architectural and poetic - powerful in form but soft in light diffusion. Not for nothing did French President François Mitterrand choose one for his office at the Élysée Palace at the time.
Equipped with four E27 sockets, the lamp offers a warm, diffused light.
In good vintage condition, with light signs of use appropriate to its age.
