Manufactured in the 1930s by the Zuffenhausen furniture manufacturer Kepler and Bruy, this chair was far ahead of its time and, as a continuation of the classic Windsor chair, clearly served as a source of inspiration for mid-century designers like Bengt Ackerblom. This very rare classic is an original with the logo imprint of the Kepler & Bruy furniture manufacturer, which was destroyed in 1944. The chair is beautifully and gracefully shaped, and the Viennese wickerwork is in perfect condition and shows no signs of damage. The wooden frame has acquired a beautiful vintage patina over the past almost 100 years and is structurally very solid. Please contact us for the matching side table.
Top vintage condition. Apart from minor scratches on the wood, no damage.
