Small item steeped in industrial history. In 1886, Albert-Pierre Raymond filed the patent for the snap fastener in Grenoble — an invention that would revolutionize the textile industry and give birth to the A. Raymond group, today an international benchmark in fastening systems. One hundred years later, in 1986, the company celebrated this anniversary with this commemorative box produced for the occasion. The box contains: A black and gold enameled commemorative badge bearing the inscription 1886–1986 and the AR monogram. A second copper-plated metal badge with a hand motif (the company's historical logo). A fabric pouch printed with the four European production sites: Grenoble · Lörrach · Manresa · Viverone. The original inner card: “Centenary of the Snap Fastener's Invention by A. Raymond” with a handwritten signature. An item rarely offered for sale, usually kept in company archives or given during internal events. A discreet but authentic testament to European industrial history. Please note: incomplete box, the original base is missing (visible in photos). This does not detract from the historical interest of the piece.
