Product description
This is a pair of early edition 'Bastiano' armchairs, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Gavina in 1962.
The chairs feature a solid wooden frame with a black lacquered finish, which remains in its original condition. The cushions have been fully renewed. The internal foam padding has been replaced, and the cushions are newly upholstered in 'Club' leather from Spanish tanner Anticcuir in a cognac/tan tone.
The chairs are in very good condition. The wooden frames show wear consistent with age and use. The cushions are flawless.
