Rare mid-century modern square coffee table, designed by Michel Arnoult, for Mobília Contemporânea, Brazil, 1950's.
Michel Arnoult (1922-2005) was a famous French architect and designer. He is recognized as one of the fathers of ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture. Arriving in Brazil in the early 1950s, Arnoult befriended modern architect Oscar Niemeyer and painter Cândido Portinari.
The conditions for this coffee table are excellent, both in terms of the wood and the glass top.
