It is painted with acrylic paint, collage and assemblage on acid-free paper 50x65 cm in size. The title is witticism to the subject. Der Blaue Reiter (the blue horseman) was a small group of like-minded artists in Germany. That's where the title comes from. This beautiful painting of a Heron was painted by Erica Muizer in 2012. Erica Muizer is an artist from Spijkenisse, the Netherlands. She was trained at the Willem de Kooning in Rotterdam. She makes many paintings on canvas or paper with acrylic, water, and oil paint. She likes to alternate styles and techniques.
