8x K&G Lunéville Demi-Porcelaine Fish Bowls A truly beautiful set of eight antique fish bowls, crafted by Keller & Guérin Lunéville (K&G) in France. These beautiful, hand-painted, fish-shaped bowls will complement your table down to the finest detail. The set dates from the late 19th/early 20th century. True craftsmanship, as each bowl is unique and hand-painted with a charming floral motif in the characteristic colors and red-lined rim of the classic Lunéville. The bowls can be used to serve sauce, but in all likelihood, they once served as finger bowls to freshen your fingers during dinner (especially with fish). Nowadays, this has been replaced by a lemon cloth. It's a lovely way to place this on these bowls. But of course, they are also perfect for a candy, a lemon, or a dollop of whipped cream. This set is a valuable addition for collectors and lovers of antique tableware. A beautiful piece of French craftsmanship to complete your table! Total weight: approx. 490g.
