This beautiful 80s postmodern chair was created through a collaboration between the established name Niels Gammelgaard and the then-emerging designer Lars Mathiasen. They made this chair for the Danish manufacturer Bent Krogh, which made a name for itself with progressive design by Scandinavian makers. The firm's most prominent designer was Niels Gammelgaard, who contributed to the design of this chair, among others. The partly plastic and partly metal chair is strongly influenced by the space-age style. The clean lines combined with rounded shapes create an exciting whole. Niels Gammelgaard is a Danish award-winning designer who joined Bent Krogh as a designer in the mid-1980s. Gammelgaard is known for his simple, minimalist, and functional designs that are simultaneously stylish, elegant, and timeless. These core values are certainly reflected in this postmodern chair. The chair shows minimal signs of use, such as small scratches or discoloration at the bottom of the legs. However, considering its age, the chair is still in fantastic condition!
