Product description
An elegant set of eight antique Bohemian champagne coupes, made of very fine, hand-blown and engraved glass, dating from the first third of the 20th century, circa 1900-1930. Each coupe features a finely wheel-engraved floral design depicting small flowers and grasses. The silhouette is particularly elegant, with a flared bowl resting on a short stem and a wide, circular foot.
Height 8 cm, diameter at the rim 10 cm. Very good overall condition. One coupe has a tiny chip on the rim, another a manufacturing flaw under the foot, likely related to the wheel-engraving process. There are a few fine, discreet scratches from use. Two additional coupes with imperfections are included with the set, for a total of ten pieces. Approximately 120 grams each.
