Charming set of 7 antique/vintage dessert plates in very fine white Limoges porcelain, translucent in the light. Unstamped but originating from the B&C° factory, Bernardaud et Compagnie, with the remainder of the set included. Produced between 1920 and 1950. Elegant octagonal design with a wide rim, a typical Art Deco shape. Multicolored floral transfer decoration with a blue border, spring-like, warm, cheerful, and traditional. 22cm in diameter and 2.3cm high. In used condition, the decorations and rims show manufacturing flaws and wear to the transfer. There are also some minor imperfections in the glaze on the surfaces, exhibiting a subtle bubbly texture. Some utensil marks. Some have a patina, some show manufacturing imperfections. No cracks or chips. Minor signs of use. Approximately 250g each. Hand washing is recommended; occasional washing in the dishwasher is okay on a gentle, low-temperature program.
