Rare set of 6 vintage IKEA Bokis bookends, designed by K. Hagberg & M. Hagberg and released in the late 1990s. The graphic zigzag design is typical of the playful yet functional IKEA design from this period and fits perfectly with minimalist, modernist, and Scandinavian interiors.
The set is made of sturdy plastic (polypropylene) and manufactured in Germany. Thanks to their strong silhouette and repeating pattern, they work particularly well as a group—ideal for an open shelving unit, desk, or low shelf. These days, they're hard to find, especially in this quantity, and are beloved by fans of vintage IKEA and postmodern design.
