Thonet, one of the oldest active furniture manufacturers, began its business in 1819 in Frankenberg, Germany. Since then, many designers have combined their designs with the Thonet chairs. This is no different with the FLEX model. Gerd Lange created the first chair with a PVC-wood joint without screws or bolts. The result is a chair that exudes both nostalgia and modernism.
