Product description
A set of six round Art Deco coasters, crafted from white porcelain with raised metal edges, designed by well-known Dutch Art Deco designer Chris van der Hoef for the German manufacturer Gebrüder Mehner in the 1920s. Each coaster features Van der Hoef's signature sleek, geometric Art Deco decorations on both the porcelain and metal edges. Complete multi-part sets like this are rare to find, especially in such well-preserved condition!
In good antique condition, with some signs of age-related wear, slight bends on some metal edges, and one coaster showing cracks (see pictures for details).
