This set of six Hay About A Chair AAC20 dining chairs, designed by Hee Welling, combines Scandinavian minimalism with functional comfort. The chairs stand out with their distinctive shell design and elegant swivel base, making them a versatile choice for modern interiors.
The chairs feature a synthetic shell, four of which are in a soft grey-green shade (dusty green) and two in a deep green color (hunter). The inside of the seat is upholstered with Steelcut Trio #916 fabric by Kvadrat, providing extra seating comfort and a refined contrast to the smooth exterior. The four-star swivel base is made of black powder-coated metal, offering stability and a sleek appearance.
Seat height is 46 cm. Felt pads have been recently replaced.
The set is in very neat condition and shows minimal signs of careful use. The construction is fully intact and the upholstery is well-maintained, allowing the chairs to retain their original character. These chairs look excellent around a spacious dining table in a contemporary or Scandinavian-inspired dining room. The color combination offers a playful yet balanced effect that integrates effortlessly into various interior styles.
