This set of dining chairs from the Danish brand Hay combines a minimalist design with functional comfort. The chairs are characterized by their organically shaped plastic shell and warm wooden base, creating a timeless Scandinavian look.
The chairs are manufactured with a polypropylene shell in various colors, including green, blue, and ochre yellow. The base is made of bent wood, which contributes to stability and the aesthetic profile. Each chair features an original black leather seat cushion with the Hay label, offering extra seating comfort. The underside of the shell clearly displays the embossed Hay logo and material designation.
The set is in very good condition. The plastic shells and wooden legs show minimal signs of use, consistent with careful maintenance. The leather cushions are intact and retain their original shape and texture.
These versatile chairs fit perfectly in a modern or Scandinavian-inspired dining room. They combine effortlessly with a robust wooden dining table, where the different colors of the shells form a playful yet cohesive whole. We bought new ones, so they are no longer used, but we enjoyed them for several years. Especially easy to keep clean with little hands and pets.
