The Nooi row chairs, model 6602, were designed by the German design studio Neunzig° for the Austrian manufacturer Wiesner-Hager. The design originated from the idea of using a shell shape and different frame options to create a compelling seating experience in various settings. The concept was that the chairs could be used in diverse spaces, such as cafeterias, waiting and transit areas, as well as seminar and training rooms.
The seat shell is made of plastic and is black on the outside and white on the inside. This contrasting color combination offers creative scope for interior design. The glossy back of the shell is particularly striking, lending the overall design a distinctive character. The plastic shell is complemented by a slim metal frame with armrests. The armrests feature a textured surface, a signature element of Neunzig°.
A characteristic feature of the Nooi row chair is the interconnected frame design, a common motif in Neunzig°'s work. The chairs can be connected directly to each other via their frames. This eliminates the need for doubling adjacent legs, creating a visually pleasing and harmonious overall appearance.
The chairs can also be stacked compactly inside one another for space-saving storage. This space-saving solution is typical of Wiesner-Hager. The chairs are designed according to the "Wiesner Hager Concept," which is characteristic of the manufacturer.
Condition: The chairs are in good condition with minor signs of wear, such as the light scratches on the underside that have accumulated over the years.

2 drawer units by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform, 1960s
Price: CHF 812 each
These drawer units from the 1960s were designed by Alfred Hendrickx for the Belgian furniture manufacturer Belform. The furniture is in the Mid-Century style and can be used as both nightstands and side tables.
Belform is known for numerous elegant and sculptural furniture pieces, including chests of drawers.
The two chests of drawers have a classic cubic form and are made of wood veneer with a warm, clearly visible grain. Each chest has three wide drawers with striking, square metal handles. The simple design of the front is further emphasized by the horizontal wood grain. On the sides, the grain runs vertically, highlighting the clean lines of the cabinet.
Each chest of drawers stands on a recessed black plinth. This creates a striking contrast between the warm wood and the dark base. At the same time, the recessed plinth makes the cubic cabinet appear slightly raised from the floor.
The design is characterized by its simplicity and refinement. Industrial-inspired elements and the combination of metal and fine woods define the aesthetic. The square metal handles add a striking accent to the otherwise minimalist fronts, while the visible grain of the wood veneer enhances the warm appeal of both pieces.
Inside, the drawers are light-colored and feature a geometrically patterned, colored drawer bottom. The red, blue, and white pattern provides a playful contrast to the simple, clean lines of the wooden fronts.
Condition: The chests of drawers are in good vintage condition with natural signs of age and use that have accumulated over the years.
