A beautiful set of five large, two-handled Limoges porcelain teacups or hot chocolate/bouillon bowls, "Palm" pattern by Bernardaud, produced in the mid-20th century (circa 1950-1970). They are unmarked, but the pattern is identifiable. Round and shallow, they feature a radiating relief decoration, elegant lines, and exquisite porcelain.
The saucers are mismatched, likely from the same manufacturer but unidentified, with a different relief. The set is visually harmonious.
The cups measure 12.5 cm in diameter, 16.5 cm in width including the handles, and 5.5 cm in height. The saucers measure 14.2 cm in diameter and 1.5 cm in height. The set is in very good overall condition, with only very minor and rare manufacturing flaws. Each cup weighs approximately 250 grams, and each saucer less than 100 grams.
