A beautiful set of 5 original Thonet chairs, from the Ligna factory (Eastern Europe), stamped with the factory mark and serial number/year. These are the classic Thonet type 18 (without armrests) and one Thonet type 23 (with armrests). These chairs are true design classics with a beautiful combination of black bentwood and woven wicker seat and backrest. Condition • Two chairs have damage to the wickerwork (holes/torn). • Two chairs have minor damage to the woodwork, easy to fill and repair for a handyman. • The other chairs are in good, used vintage condition. This set is ideal for a vintage Thonet enthusiast, a restaurant with character, or someone who wants to restore the chairs.
