These distinctive chairs were designed in the 1970s by Danish designer Rainer Daumiller and exemplify the organic, nature-inspired design language of Scandinavian design of that era. Crafted from solid pine, they impress with their warm appeal and the deliberately visible grain with its striking knots, giving each chair an individual character. Typical of Daumiller's designs is the powerful, almost archaic form: The round seat is gently shaped and slightly recessed, ensuring comfortable seating. The four solid, cylindrical legs flow seamlessly into the structure, emphasizing the chair's robust, handcrafted appearance. The backrest consists of a single, ergonomically shaped piece of wood placed horizontally, supported by two vertical struts, providing comfortable lumbar support.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with only very minor signs of wear. Beautiful, authentic patina.
