Discover the timeless elegance of this set of four vintage Rudolf Wolf Meander Alpha chairs, a masterpiece of Dutch Design from 1964. Designed by the renowned Rudolf Wolf and produced by van Gaasbeek & van Tiel, these chairs are a perfect addition to any dining room or living room seeking a touch of Mid-Century Modern style.
This unique design is characterized by the difference in width between the chrome-plated front and back legs (front 43cm and back 26.5cm). The chairs are upholstered in the original off-white faux leather upholstery and the chrome-plated metal tubular frame.
This very fresh, well-maintained vintage set of four chairs is still in its original condition and has been in my possession for over 45 years. It shows normal signs of wear.
Due to its age of over 60 years, the white faux leather upholstery may occasionally show some signs of wear, which are visible when zooming in on each chair. The chrome-plated metal base also shows some scratches and chrome wear due to age. In chair 1, an attachment to one of the rear legs was re-welded in the early 1980s. You often find elsewhere that the legs have already been recolored.
