General: Set of four original Leolux Kilenge High dining armchairs, designed by Hugo de Zeeuw / Scooter & Partners.
The Kilenge has a characteristic, calm and sculptural form and is actually difficult to place in one category: dining chair, armchair and comfortable chair for office or home office.
This version has a beautiful plain deep cobalt blue, matte upholstery with a felt-like appearance and a soft, pleasant touch. The color changes beautifully with the light: with more light, the blue becomes more lively and intense, while in shadow it appears deeper and darker. The photos show different nuances of the same fabric. Especially in photo 1 you can see the natural color shift. That photo was taken on a grey September day, in pure natural light, at a distance of about 2.5 to 3 meters from the window.
The Kilenge is particularly comfortable thanks to its high back, generous seat and armrests. What we ourselves have always found very pleasant about it is that it is much more than just a dining chair. Thanks to the wheels, you can easily roll one a few meters further and immediately have a full-fledged extra armchair in the living room.
At the same time, the Kilenge is also very pleasant as an office chair or home office chair. We ourselves have often used it that way for long-term home office work, precisely because of the high seating comfort.
So we really use the chairs multifunctionally (armchair / dining chair / office chair) and everyone likes to sit in them.
We are selling them with a bit of a heavy heart. The reason is simple: we have a new dining table and these armchairs have become just a bit too wide for it. Keeping four extra armchairs permanently in our seating area is unfortunately also a bit much.
Preferably I sell the complete set, but selling per three or per two is also possible. This makes them also interesting for those who, for example, are looking for a pair of comfortable design armchairs for a living space, office or reading corner.
Condition: well-maintained used condition. The upholstery has remained beautiful and even, and the wheels function well.
