Product description
Set of 4 stitched saddle leather designer chairs that are also stackable.
Manufactured by Fasem Italy by Giancarlo Vegni in the 1990s, model Stripe.
Minimalist lines reminiscent of pieces by Vincent van Duysen and Maarten van Severen, among others. Finished in black stitched leather seat and backrest, curved slats mounted on a gray steel frame.
This version has no armrests, making it suitable for placement under any table and visually appearing very light.
The Italian industrial designer Giancarlo Vegni has the ability to create timeless, minimalist classics imbued with a sense of luxury and comfort.
Vegni has been a central figure in the Italian design scene since the late 1960s; his pioneering approach has led him to set the pace for international trends, and his work has been truly influential.
Condition:
In beautiful vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age, which only enhance the chairs' vibrant character. These are mainly minor scratches and light marks on the seats and some wear on the paint of the metal frames. See photos.
One white cap is missing from the bottom, but this does not affect their functionality. When stacking, please ensure it is placed underneath and stacked first.
