Set of 4 early Arne Jacobsen 3105 'Mosquito / Mug / Munkegaard' chairs - iconic Danish design from 1955. Four original model 3105 chairs - also known as *Mosquito*, *Mug* or *Munkegaard*. These chairs were designed in 1955 by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen and produced by Fritz Hansen. They are a model of Mid - Century modern design.
The chair got its nickname from the distinctive, wing-like shape of the seat - a clean, organic line reminiscent of the outline of a mosquito. Made from a single piece of curved plywood, the design exudes elegance, lightness and simplicity. The functional, stackable form and innovative use of materials make this design timeless.
