Rare, superb set of four Chinese celadon porcelain rice bowls, manufactured, with a maker's mark present on three of them, to be identified. Fine porcelain, translucent when held to the light, with a relief of foliage and koi carp on the exterior, smooth interiors. Vintage, 1970s-80s.
6cm high, 12.4cm maximum diameter. The set is in good condition overall; however, each bowl has a small chip on the rim. One is minimal, barely visible; two are slightly larger, between 1 and 2mm; and the last is larger, at 4mm. These are generally quite discreet, as the porcelain core is also celadon. They also have some minor scratches from use on the bases. Nevertheless, they are lovely, rare, and refined collector's items. Approximately 260g each.
