I am offering a beautiful set of 4 very old Tuscan-Italian handmade jugs, painted with floral herbs. They were made by the family business Fratelli Rosselli from Lastra a Signa, a municipality near Florence. This region is known worldwide for its rich tradition of handmade pottery.
One of the jugs is marked with a stylized representation of a medieval castle gate or tower, a direct reference to the coat of arms and the historic city walls of Lastra a Signa.
A beautiful object for a country kitchen or for your interior.

Production period: approx. 1956–late 1960s (the company existed until approximately 1980). Item: 4 jugs, ecru/beige in color and hand-painted with floral motifs featuring the 4 herbs: Lupino (Lupine), Trifoglio (Clover), Petacciola (Plantain), and Camomilla (Chamomile).
