Product description
Original set of four espresso cups with saucers by Jan Briggte, an artistic pottery studio based in Colorado Springs, USA. The set dates from the 1950s–1960s and is a fine example of American studio pottery in the Mid-Century Modern style.
Each piece was handmade and hand-glazed. The matte satin turquoise glaze and simple, organic forms reflect the modernist design aesthetic of the mid-20th century. Each piece is hand-signed on the base.
Very good condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. The glaze is even and well preserved. The set is complete (4 cups and 4 saucers) and rarely found in such excellent condition.
Ideal for collectors of studio ceramics, Mid-Century Modern design enthusiasts, or as a distinctive decorative or functional set. The item will be carefully packed for shipping.
