Here is a model that particularly lives up to its name. With Beau Soleil, the Digoin Sarreguemines faience factory envisions bright, generous tableware, where the design seems to have retained something of sunny days. These four soup plates feature a very beautiful polychrome floral design. Blue, yellow, and burgundy flowers blend with vivid green foliage, in a composition full of movement that adorns the rim without invading the center. The radiant relief of the faience delicately catches the light and gives the set its very special presence. The well is outlined by a thin blue circle that structures the design and adds an elegant graphic touch. Produced by the Digoin Sarreguemines Faience Factory in the first half of the 20th century, circa , they bear the manufacturer's mark on the reverse. With a diameter of approximately 23 cm, they are in impeccable condition, with a design that has retained all the vibrancy of its colors.
